Manage toolkit tools
Edit tools, change aliases, remove sources, and delete toolkits.
Once you've created a toolkit, you can edit which tools it includes, update aliases, and manage sources.
Edit tool aliases
Aliases help when multiple MCP servers expose tools with similar names. Renaming clarifies which tool does what for your agent.
Find the tool
On the toolkit detail page, find the source section containing the tool.
Edit the alias
Click the pencil icon next to the tool's alias. Enter the new alias (letters, numbers, underscores, dots, hyphens only).
Save
Press Enter or click away to save. The alias is case-sensitive and must be unique within the toolkit.
The new alias is saved and is the name clients will see for this tool.
Remove individual tools
Hover over or click the tool menu (three dots) next to a tool and click Remove. The tool is instantly removed.
Remove a source from a toolkit
In the source section header, click the remove icon (trash can). A confirmation dialog appears. Click Remove to confirm.
Add more tools
Open the source picker
Click Add Sources (or the button in the sources section).
Select and configure
Select additional MCP servers, choose tools from those servers, and set their aliases.
Save
Click Save Tools.
The new tools appear on the toolkit detail page alongside the existing ones.
Delete a toolkit
Deleting a toolkit removes it completely. You can't recover it after deletion.
On the toolkit detail page, click the menu (three dots) at the top and select Delete Toolkit. Confirm to delete.
